Magnitone London First Step Cleansing Brush

I started using cleansing brushes when I was about 16 and my first one was the Olay Regenerist Cleansing Brush. I did really love this cleansing brush but unfortunately it gave me no guidance on how long I should spend cleansing my face. I received an email from the kind people over at Magnitone London who offered to send me their NEW First Step Cleansing Brush for teenage skin.

I was thrilled to test out the product as it claimed to provide deep pore cleansing and prevent breakouts. Although I don't have huge problems with my skin, I do get breakouts every so often on my forehead.

The first huge difference I found with my new Magnitone London Brush was that it vibrated rather than oscillated which took a bit of getting used to... but I now much prefer how this brush works. It doesn't tug on the skin and still ensures a deep cleanse. The brush buzzes after 20 seconds indicating that you need to switch the area you're cleansing and also turns off after 1 minute. This is great for me as it means I know exactly how long to spend cleansing my skin.

I love that this product is 100% waterproof so I can use it in the shower when I'm in more a rush (although I don't recommend washing your face in the shower as the temperature can get too high). The brush will be released some time this month and will come in 2 colours, white and pink. The great thing about this product is that it is available for only £39.99 which means it's great for teenagers who can't afford to purchase most of the cleansing brushes out there!

I honestly can't recommend this brush enough! It's small, so great for travelling and it's wireless so you don't have to worry about electrocuting yourself in the bathroom! 😉

I was kindly sent this brush by Magnitone London however all opinions are my own and are not influenced by the brand.

  1. This cleansing brush sounds amazing! I'm lucky that most of the time my skin is good, but recently it's been horrendous as I've been ill. The price is awesome too, hopefully I'll be able to get this brush when it's out! Thanks for the great post. With love, Chloe x

  4. I am obsessed with Magnitone! I've used so many of their products and keep coming back for more. I'm on my third. I purchased the smaller bare faced one a few years ago cause it was on sale and I fell in love, so I eventually purchased the Full Monty. I left the FM in a hotel room in Rome so as soon as I got back from my holiday, I purchased another haha! They're the best

    1. Well it's okay occasionally but your face is more sensitive than your body so the heat from the water may be a big too hot for your face!

      Thanks for your comment! xx

  13. What most people don't realize is how easy it is to over cleanse and strip your skin of its natural balance,I always end up rubbing it raw this looks amazing.

    1. Yes! You have to be super careful as your skin is so delicate. This brush vibrates so it won't rub at your skin and tug at it.

      Thanks for your comment :)
