I couldn't believe it when I passed my test a few months ago! I was so excited to get my first car and start driving around.

It's so important to find a car that you'll feel comfortable in and for me that was a Mini Cooper. I had never drove one before but I knew I would love it! I chose to opt for an automatic because although I completed my lessons in a manual, I didn't feel 100% confident.
I found it so hard to find a car that was within my price range but was also from a reliable site. Cars.com is a perfect website to help you find your perfect car! It allows you to search new and used cars and it also allows you to choose how far you want to travel. This website was great for me as I was able to choose the maximum amount of money I wanted to spend. I find it's great for people who don't want to splash out lots of money on a car and for people who just simply can't afford it.
I only passed a few months ago so it was important for me to find a website which was reliable. Cars.com gives you advice on their page as to how to avoid dodgy sellers. For somebody like me who doesn't know much about cars and sales I found this very useful!
I have a 1.6 Mini Cooper 2005. I chose an older Mini because it was more within my price range and I love the look of the traditional Mini's as they've changed quite drastically now. I couldn't imagine living life without my car as driving has become such a necessity for me. I live in a small village which is quite a distance from the nearest shop so for me it was important to drive.
I would defintely recommend checking out Cars.com if you're looking to find your perfect car! It really helped me and I'm sure it will help you too.

Well Done for passing your test! I did a week or so ago and I’m so over the moon about it cause it took a while. I’d love a mini someday but atm I’m driving a Ford Fiesta and its the perfect little first car! Xx

Thank you, I passed back in September but I love my Mini still! :)
DeleteCongratulations on passing your test-life becomes so much easier now!
ReplyDeleteI had a mini for my first car too and considering it was old it was pretty reliable. I hope you have fun but stay safe on the roads.

Thank you!
DeleteMine is a 2005 so pretty old but I love it :) x
I passed my test when I was 18 and my first (and only) car was a KA and I felt comfortable in it instantly. Any other car I drove since (like my parents for example) I’m just like UGH THIS FEELS OFF. I don’t have a car at the moment, my old one didn’t pass it’s MOT a few years ago so had to be scrapped and along with not having the money to run another one, my anxiety also majorly impacted my driving but I’m hoping to get back into driving in the future. And I’m looking forward to when i have to pick out another car!
