*These products were gifted however all opinions are my own and not influenced by Dr Bronners in anyway.
Dr Bronners is a Cruelty-Free and Vegan (apart from a few) Soap Company that produce a range of soap and personal care products at great quality! They thrive to help the environment by creating products that can be used in a number of different ways, therefore reducing the amount of (mainly plastic) cleaning and beauty products we buy. I was sent a few products from the company to test out, so I thought I’d share my thoughts with you all!
If you haven’t already tried the Dr Bronners Liquid Castile Soap then you need to jump on this bandwagon! I have been using the Rose scented one and I’ve found it to be so versatile. It has a transparent, runny consistency and a little bit goes along way. Before this, I was using Zoflora and I actually prefer the Castile Soap mainly based on the fact that it can be used for so many different things. Here’s a few examples:
Washing your Face, Body, Hands and Hair
Bathing
Shaving
Brushing your teeth
Washing your dishes
Doing Laundry
Mopping the floor
All-purpose cleaning... and so much more!
The other product I tried out was the Lavender Hair Creme. I’m not normally a huge fan of Lavender as it tends to give me migraines but this hasn’t got a strong smell at all! I have dry, curly hair and it does feel very nourishing without being oily. I’d recommend using no more than a pea size amount though just because I feel too much could make your hair greasy and that’s the last thing you want when you’ve just washed your hair!
Overall, I really love both products and if I had to pick a favourite it would be the Castile Soap purely based on its versatility! It’s also a product I feel I reach for more often.
