How to style: A plain t-shirt.

Welcome to a new edition on my blog known as 'How to style'. I don't think I really need to explain what it is because it's pretty self explanatory. But today's feature is 'How to style: A plain t-shirt'.

1. Tucked in to High-waisted Jeans.

Now, there's a few ways in which you could tuck your t-shirt into your jeans. My personal favourite is tucking the t-shirt in and then gently pulling on it slightly to make it seem baggy and loose. I also love just tucking it in tightly and wearing it sort of like a bodysuit.

2. Wear it with a Denim or Leather Jacket.

I love how much a simple jacket can spice an outfit up with no effort at all. Denim jackets are perfect for a more casual look and leather jackets give you a more edgy style but both can be dressed up with some gorgeous jewellery.

3. Throw on a pair of leather leggings.

If you have been following me on Twitter, you'll know how much I've been loving leather leggings lately (what a tongue-twister!). I just think they really dress up a plain white t-shirt and instantly makes it look like you've spent ages getting ready in the morning.

4. Hang your glasses/sunglasses on the neckline.

Obviously if you're wearing a high-neck t-shirt then you can't do this but I really think it just adds a little something and distracts away from how plain your t-shirt really is!

5. Wear a necklace!

I know this sounds like a really obvious one but it honestly makes such a difference! I never used to wear necklaces until my boyfriend brought me one for Christmas and now I don't want to take it off! You can either wear a dainty but long necklace or you can wear a short, statement necklace. It's really up to you and what you think will fit your style best.

I hope this helped some of you who are struggling a bit with how to style those plain, old t-shirts stuck at the back of your wardrobe.

Let me know what you'd like my next 'How to style' post on!

xoxo
