I can’t deny that Summer is my all time favourite season with Autumn being a close second. The weather has been incredible in England these past few weeks and it’s definitely made me feel like I’m on holiday. There’s so many reasons why I love Summer and I thought I’d share a few of those with you.
1. My favourite thing about the Summer is of course the heat! England doesn’t always have the best Summer’s but it’s usually always a lot warmer. I have to admit though, I don’t find the heat in England as good as when you go away. England heat just feels so much more sticky. I usually go on holiday during the summer though so that’s not too much of a problem. I know I’ll be getting a great tan as well which is always good!
2. Another thing I love about Summer is how light it is outside! I always feel a lot more productive during the Summer because it’s a lot lighter and I swear I feel less tired. Also, waking up in the morning is so much easier!
3. Freshly cut grass! Now I know that you can cut your grass anytime of year but it’s just not the same as cutting it in the summer. I don’t care too much about how the grass looks but I really love the smell! At the minute, Latest Deals are promoting some incredible deals on Lawnmowers so I’d recommend having a look!
4. The beach! I absolutely love going to the beach especially when it’s boiling hot outside. Also, sea water is incredibly good for the skin so that’s a bonus! If any of you suffer with Eczema or Dermatitis then I’d hugely recommend bathing in sea water because it really helps! I can’t say I’m a huge fan of the sand though, once you’ve got sand on you it takes forever to get it off!
5. Holidays! This is such an obvious one but I truly love a good holiday. I’ve got a few holidays planned so I’m super excited! I don’t just go on Holidays in the summer but I do prefer it a lot more as it tends to be warmer during July/August. I also love being able to wear pretty dresses and playsuits without being absolutely freezing! Summer clothes are always so much brighter and I genuinely think it improves my mood.
So, there’s all my favourite things about Summer summed up. What is your favourite thing about the Summer & if you don’t like it, what’s your favourite season?

I like summer because you can go outside and do things more, everyone tends to be in a better mood in summer too and it means extra time off with my son to have fun. I don’t like being too hot and I sunburn easily though!
ReplyDeleteI really want to love summer but it always makes my allergies so bad! I do love a good holiday though!
ReplyDeleteI love the weather, definitely my most favourite things about Summer! In Ireland, we're getting a fab heatwave at the moment, hopefully it'll last!
ReplyDeleteI love summer! I also enjoy going to the beach. It can be so hot out and the water will still be freezing cold!
ReplyDeleteSummer is definitely my favourite season I just love being able to see everyone and go on holiday and summer clothing is everything! I’m always so bored of big coats and jumpers after a long winter!

Summer is my favourite too, despite my hay fever π lovely post!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about summer is family BBQs, the beach and summer treats like ice cream sandwiches and cones. My birthday is in the summer so that's a plus ❤️ I too like fresh cut grass, nothing like laying out in the lawn, drinking iced tea and counting the clouds while smelling the flowers with grilled fish tacos for lunch...perfect summer day for meπππ

I'm definitely the same when it comes to the beach and summer time! I'm lucky enough to live less than 2 hours away from the coast, so every summer isn't complete without at least 1 trip down there! Also I had no idea salt water helps with eczema! I'm going to look into this for sure. Thanks for sharing Lauren!
ReplyDeleteI love summer because then these babies are on my feet https://www.bstore.com.au/women/birkenstock/
