Are BH Cosmetics Brushes any good?

I purchased the BH Cosmetics Sculpt and Blend 2 Set quite a while ago now and wanted to make sure I used every single one before writing a review on them.

I have to say I'm very impressed with the quality of these brushes! I loved that they included numbers on the brushes as well as the use of each brush on the box. It would be nice if they included the brush name on each brush as well but I can't be too picky I suppose!

Although I won't go into detail of every brush in this set, I will tell you my favourite brushes from the set and also my least favourite.

So, my favourite has to be 125 Tapered Contour Brush. I found that this brush worked so well for contour and didn't leave me with any harsh lines like the 127 Angled Face Shader Brush did. I found that there was little to no shedding with this brush, I have yet to find any shedding but I have heard from some reviews that these brushes do shed.

My least favourite has to be the 131 Nose Contour Brush! This brush was quite useless in my opinion. I found that product only collected on the very tip of the brush and it left harsh contour lines which were hard to blend out.

The brushes are all very soft excluding 127 and 131 (as mentioned already) and they apply product beautifully! They are definitely great value retailing at around £20. I brought mine from Beauty Bay but they can be purchased directly from BH cosmetics. Would 100% recommend.

  2. Your photos are fantastic, you can see how soft the brushes are. I don't use brushes apart from a powder brush (my blusher is a cream one and I don't use eyeshadow) but if any of my friends are looking, I'll definitely suggest this set. Lovely review! x

  5. I genuinely think that brushes that shed have to be one of the most annoying things in the world! I can definitely understand why the nose contour brush is your least favourite - such an odd shape to work with..

  6. Wow these are great value! It's SO handy that they tell you what they're all for on the box because I am useless with brushes so that would be really helpful for me (:

  9. BH Cosmetics brushes can be hit or miss for me. I have found some that I loved, and others that were scratchy.
